5 Tips for Fostering a Dog Who Needs Some Love and Work

I’ve previously posted about my foster dog Ozlo. We have had him for a year and a half now. He has had no good contendors for forever homes since we’ve had him and at this point we are likely going to adopt him and foster-fail. He knows and loves us and we understand his needs and would do anything for him. Every single person who has submitted an application to adopt him and then has done a meet and greet with him, have all done the same thing. “Look how handsome and pretty he is! Oh I love him!”, they …

Newly Addicted to PUBg on XB1

Hello virtual friends. Quick update on the last two weeks. I am feeling emotionally better. It’s still cold and it still sucks, but I don’t feel as down now. I think it was just some new-year-blues with a not-so-great start to it and I really needed something to focus on. I now have 3 applications in at a local hospital for their various unit secretary positions. I am waiting to hear back on those, so fingers crossed for good news soon. I got the eleventh book to my favorite series that I’ve been reading/following for the last 6-ish years, the …

Winter Blues

Howdy Everyone. I haven’t written in awhile. I’ve been really busy with work and I was finishing up a busy semester in school. I finished top of the class in Psychology and Biology, so that’s pretty cool. I aced all my finals. Fingers crossed for Fall ’18. In the mean time I am reading the textbooks that will be used in the program to get …

Being a Fur-Foster Mom

A little over a year ago, my boyfriend was trying to get his work to engage in some sort of volunteering activity. He wanted everyone to get set up with walking dogs at the local shelter. It’s the best shelter to support here because it is the only non-single breed, no-kill shelter in this area. Before he could even get his colleagues psyched on it, on September 8th, 2016, I sent him a Facebook video I saw on my feed from this specific shelter asking for help. They were going to gut and re-build a whole room of dog apartments, …

Autumn is Here

So today I’m sitting at work writing this blog post instead of doing sales-person things. Today, and like the last few weeks, I just feel excited and so in love with Fall. It officially began last Friday so I don’t need to make excuses anymore for my excessive PSL drinking. The weather is supposed to finally drop tomorrow. That means I can probably get away with a light sweater…..indoors lol. It will only be 79; cooler than it has been but still relatively warm. I’ll take any chance I can get to wear my sweaters and boots. They are admittedly …
